HDPE for Industrial Applications
High Density Polyethylene is used in a variety and ever growing number of industrial applications. Typical applications include transport of organic & inorganic chemicals, hazardous waste, waste water, fire loops & mains, Liquor, bleaching, and caustic acid lines, tailing lines and more.
HDPE is well suited for these environments due to its corrosion and abrasion resistance, flexibility, ease of installation, and its ability to maintain a high flow coefficient throughout its service life of 50-100 years.
One other very important detail paramount to industrial applications: HDPE does not leak. This is very important when transporting liquids that can be dangerous or costly if not completely contained.
HDPE is well suited for pressures up to 300 psi and constant service temperatures up to 140° F.
