Valve spacers are used to off-set the standard HDPE flange face to
provide for water rotation, when customized flanges have not been
ordered. As the Butterfly Valve wafer rotates, it will hit the ID
of the standard Flange-Adapter.
HCFC can machine custom Flange-Adapters to avoid using spacers and provide or full Butterfly-Valve opening.
Check the standard spacer thickness to make sure it is sufficient for the exact Butterfly Valve being used, by doing a simple dimensional layout.
